As of right now, we have
2646 tutors, and 751537 problems solved.
Useful tools for students:
If you are struggling with a particularly tough problem, our active tutors could help. It is
free for anyone. The way it works is this: for your problem, you find
a section of my site that discusses your part of the algebra
curriculum. It is very important that you find the right section.
There, click on the Free tutors tab and see questions that
were already answered. You may find yours or a similar problem
solved. If your problem is new, submit it in that section. Do not
submit problems identical or similar to the ones already solved.
Make sure to ask your question clearly and completely. Make sure
that you say what it is that needs to be determined.
You do not need to register, although
if you do, you can look up answers to all your past problems. Without
registration, you would be notified of new answers by email only.
Some of our tutors are available as private tutors for $$. Check
out our Tutor list and maybe contact
some of them. Some are even running tutoring businesses. See which of
them is most competent etc, by looking at their answers. Note that
many, if not most, of our tutors simply enjoy answering algebra
questions and are not interested in money.
