Question 958489: There is a sector of a circle with area 8.9, radius r and angle x in radians. Express r as a function of x.
I know the formula for the area of a sector in radians is A=(1/2)r^2(x)
so it would be 8.9=(1/2)r^2(x), but I'm having trouble getting r by itself.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A=%281%2F2%29r%5E2%28x%29 Multiply each side by 2.
2A=r%5E2%28x%29 Divide each side by (x).
2A%2Fx=r%5E2 Find the square root of each side.
sqrt%282A%2Fx%29=r
