The long hand is pointing at the 9 on the clock, and the short hand is pointing...... maybe 3/4 of the way from the 2 to the 3 on the clock.

Think of each main number on the clock to be 360%2F12=30 DEGREES for each main number increment on the clock face. If you analyze for the obtuse angle, the smaller angle which is less than 180 degree, you find this quantity of increments on the clock incuded: 5%263%2F4, from the 9 to the 2&3/4 hour marks. This is highlight%28%285%263%2F4%29%2A30%29 DEGREES.
