WHat is the perimeter of a rectangle with a length of 23 ft. and a area of 322 sq. ft?????
Let the breadth of the rectangle be = b ft
the length of the rectangle = l = 23 ft
Area of the rectangle is = A = 322 sq ft
Perimeter of the rectangle = P = ?
A = l*b
322 = 23*b or b = 322/23 = 14 ft
P = 2(l+b) = 2(23+14) = 2(37) = 74 ft.
