You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A fence surrounds a square is 80 yards.
A square has equal length all around.
So, divide 80 by 4 sides to get 20 yards.
The area of a square is found by multiplying two of the sides.
We know that all the sides are 20 yards.
Then area = 20 yards times 20 yards or 400 square yards.
