| Question 888072: Hello,
I'm working with secant lines and tangent lines, major arcs and minor arcs within a circle. I have a problem, in this equation there is a circle with tangent lines on either side and the major arc measures 192 degrees, they want me to solve for X which is the angle with the tangent lines? I have tried to solve it the way they showed us in our notes, but I keep coming up with the wrong answer, please help?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! ------
 The two arcs are 192 and (360-192) = 168
 measure of the angle is (1/2)(192-168) = (1/2)24 = 12 degrees
