length=l=x +140 ft
perimeter=5280 ft
2l + 2w=5280
2(x +140) + 2x = 5280
2x + 280 + 2x = 5280
4x = 5280-280
x = 5000/4
x = 1250 ft = width
length=l=x 140=1390 ft
