No, it is not possible, because 5%2B7=12 .
A straight line is the shortest distance between two points.
As a conmsequence one side of a triangle must be shorter than the sum of the other too.
If a triangle has side AB measuring 5 centimeters and side BC measuring 7 centimeters,

side AC is the straight line distance from A to C, and it has to be shorter than the distance going from A to C passing through B.
The distance passing through B is 5cm%2B7cm=12cm , but AC must be shorter than that.
