Question 802932: What is the perimeter of a hexagon of side "s", where s=(9y+1)km?
Answer by fcabanski(1391) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The only way to solve this problem is if the hexagon is a regular hexagon. Then all the sides are the same length. If it's not regular, knowing the length of one side isn't enough to find the perimeter.
Assuming it is regular:
The hexagon as 6 sides. The perimeter is 6*s = 6(9y+1) = (54y+6) km
