Question 69935: Please help to decide whether the following statement is true or false and why?
Three noncollinear points determine two lines.
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The statement is false. Just draw 3 points that are not all on the same line and you'll see that 3 lines can result from the 3 points, and they would form a triangle. Remember, collinear means the points lie on the same line, whereas non collinear means they do not.
