Hi,
Find the points of intersection of the graphs:
y=3x-3
x^2+y^2=25
x^2 + (3x-3)^2 = 25
10x^2 - 18x -16 = 0
5x^2 - 9x -8 = 0
x+=+%28-b+%2B-+sqrt%28+b%5E2-4%2Aa%2Ac+%29%29%2F%282%2Aa%29+
x+=+%289+%2B-+sqrt%28+241%29%29%2F%2810%29+
x = 2.45 or x = -.65
points of intersection of the graphs: (2.45, 4.35) and (-.65, -4.96)
