You can put this solution on YOUR website! The minute hand travels 24 times around the face while the hour hand travels twice around the face in a day.
Besides that the circumference that the minute hand travels is larger.
2pir=2pi*8=16pi for the minute hand
2pir=2pi*6=12pi for the hour hand
in one trip the minute hand travels 4pi more than the hour hand
the hour hand travels 2*12pi=24pi
the minute hand travels 24*16*pi
24*16pi-24pi=24pi*(16-1) =24pi*15 more
I bet you really want the 4 pi answer but the problem is poorly worded.
