: find the area inside the square, but outside the circle, given that the radius of the circle is 2ft.use 3.14 for pi. height is 6ft and width is 6ft. This question is from textbook
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Area of the Square=height times width =36 sq ft
Area of the circle = Pi times radius squared =(3.14)(4)=12.56 sq ft
Now, in order to find the area inside the square but outside the circle, we simply subtract the area of the circle from the area of the square, or
36-12.56=23.44 sq ft
