You can put this solution on YOUR website!
One radius of a circle has endpoints D(2,4) and E(-1,2).
a)Find a possible endpoint for the diameter that contains this radius.
------------
Find the x & y differences separately
dx = 3, dy = 2
=========
Add the differences to D and subtract from E
D --> F(5,6)
E --> G(-4,0)
F & G are the 2 possible points on the diameter.
-----------------
b) Explain why there are two possible answers in part a)
Either point, D or E, could be the center.
