Question 57806: Draw The circle (uhm...i really dont know what to do and i need your help...uhm, you dont need to draw the circle for me at least show me the solutions on how to solve the problem...)
Given
1. x squared + y squared - 6x - 8y = 0
2. x squared + y squared - 8x + 2y + 8 Answer by venugopalramana(3286) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Draw The circle (uhm...i really dont know what to do and i need your help...uhm, you dont need to draw the circle for me at least show me the solutions on how to solve the problem...)
I SHALL SHOW YOU ONE.YOU TRY THE OTHER
Given
1. x squared + y squared - 6x - 8y = 0
(X^2-2*X*3+3^2)-3^2 + (Y^2-2*Y*4+4^2)-4^2=0
(X-3)^2 + (Y-4)^2 = 9+16=25=5^2
COMPARING WITH STD EQN.
(X-H)^2 +(Y-K)^2 = R^2....
CENTRE IS (H,K) = (3,4)...RADIUS IS R=5
SO TAKE A SUITABLE SCALE ON THE GRAPH ,PLOT CENTRE AT (3,4) AND WITH A RADIUS OF 5 UNITS TO GET THE REQUIRED CIRCLE.
2. x squared + y squared - 8x + 2y + 8
