Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! If two planes are perpendicular to the same line, are the two planes parallel?
-----
If they're perpendicular, not necessarily.
Any line that intersects a plane can be perpendicular. Perpendicular is a 2-space term.
--------------------------
If they're normal, then they are parallel (or coincident).
