You can put this solution on YOUR website!
if i have an angle on a circle that is 40 degrees and the radius is 4 what is the area of that angle?
-----
The area of the circle = (pi)4^2 = 16(pi) sq. units.
-------
Area of the sector = (40/360)(16pi) = (1/9)16pi = 1.778(pi) sq units
