You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You need to rearrange to give the equation of a line in the form "y=mx+c".
Note you should only have ONE y on the left hand side:
6x%2B9y=8
9y=-6x%2B8
y=%28-6x%2B8%29%2F9
y=-2x%2F3%2B8%2F9
so the slope is actually -2/3
