You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"The perimeter of a rectangular garden is 308 feet. If the length of the garden is 89 feet, what is its width?"

Perimeter of a rectangle = (2 x length) + (2 x width)

x = width

308 = 2(89) + 2x {perimeter = 2(length) + 2(width)}
308 = 178 + 2x {multiplied 2 by 89}
130 = 2x {subtracted 178 from both sides}
x = 65 {divided both sides by 2}

width = 65 feet
