You can put this solution on YOUR website!

To find the x-intercept, set y=0 and solve for x.
x%5E2-9=0
x%5E2=9
x=0+%2B-+3
(-3,0) and (3,0)

To find the y-intercept, set x=0 and solve for y.
y=x%5E2-9
y=-9
(0,-9)

Hi,
find the x and y intercepts of graph y=x^2 -9
y intercept (when x = 0)
(0,-9)
x intercepts (when y = 0)
0+=+x%5E2+-9
x%5E2+=+9
x = 3
x = -3 (-3,0)
(3,0) ans (-3,0) are the x intercepts
