the spray goes from the center of the circle out to 72 feet, this is the radius of the circle

if the circle touches all 4 edges of the square, then half the length of
one of the sides of the square is the radius of the circle, then:

total length of fence around field = perimeter of square = P = 4 * 2 * 72
P = 4 * 2 * 72 = 4 * 144 = 576 feet
