Since C is the mid point,
therefore, (6x - 4)/2 = 4x-3
=> 6x - 4 = 2X(4x-3) = 8x - 6
=> 6x - 8x = -6 + 4
=> -2x = -2
=> x = (-2)/(-2) = 1
Hence, CD = AC = 4x - 3 = 4X1 - 3 = 1
