You can put this solution on YOUR website! Let the side of the square region garden is x ft
Area = x^2
Perimeter = 4x feet
Per question, x^2 = 2(4x) + 9
=> x^2-8x-9 = 0
=> (x-9)(x+1) = 0
=> x=9 (because x cannot be -ve)
The perimeter os the garden is 36 feet.
