The formula for area of ellipse is
A+=+pi%2A%28%28a%2Bb%29%2F2%29%5E2
where a and b are major and minor axis
* Note if a = r and b = r as in a circle, then the area would be pir^2

1/2 major = 10
1/2 minor = 5
so,
A+=+pi%2A%28%2810%2B5%29%2F2%29%5E2
or
56.25*pi meters squared.
