The best way to explain this problem is to plot these 3 points on a graph.
You have 3 points & to make a rectangle you need the 4 th point which is (2,-3) which is the rectangle.
(2,2), (7,2), (7,-3)
THE X DISTANCE=7-2=5
THE Y DISTANCE=2+3=5
THE FOURTH VERTICES=(2,-3)
THIS RECTANCLE IS A 5 UNIT SQUARE.
AREA=5*5=15 ANSWER.
PERIMETER=4*5=20 ANSWER.
