You can put this solution on YOUR website! I know the perimeter is the measure around something but how do you find the perimeter of ABC if A= (2,6), B= (5,10) and C= (0,13)??? Help!!!
---------------------
You have to find the length of the segment between each pair of points.
Use the formula d = sqrt[(x1-x2)^2 + (y1-y2)^2]
Example:
distance from A to B
d = sqrt[(10-6)^2 + (5-2)^2] = sqrt[16 + 9] = 5
--------------------------
After you find the three lengths, add them up; that is the perimeter.
--------------------------
Comment: If you plot the points on an x/y coordinate system
you will see the distances and the figure.
