In a study of 100 married women with children, the subjects were asked the major reason for working outside the home. The study resulted in the following data:

Construct a pie chart for the data and analyze the results. Draw a circle. Cut it into four slices with ratio 62, 18, 12, 8 – Results show most women work because they need the income for family of other purposes.

62, 18, 12, 8 as percentage of the full circle. That is:
The four slices are
62%, 18%, 12%, and 8%.

.62*360 = 223.2 degrees of the circle
.18*360 = 64.8 degrees of the circle
.12*360 = 43.2 degrees of the circle
.08*360 = 28.8 degrees of the circle
