The team then measured the distance the wheel had rolled and found it to be 56 cm. To the nearest tenth, what is the radius of the wheel?
I don't get how I'm supposed to solve this..? Found 2 solutions by scott8148, josmiceli:Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! the wheel rolls on the circumference __ the distance between the marks is one revolution (one circumference)
You can put this solution on YOUR website! As long as the wheel rolls smoothly and doesn't slip or leave the pavement,
then the distance from the chalk mark to where the chalk mark arrives
again will be the circumference of the wheel.
If circumference = cm answer
