Question 129396: Write a mathematical argument that two lines perpendicular to the same line are parallel to each other.
Answer by amine(11) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! we suppose that the two line is not parallel, then the two lines will have an intersection point, if it is, we have now a triangle with the 3 line, the sum of the angles of a triangle is 180, it is a contradiction with the two line is perpendicular to the same line because the sum of the two angles of theses lines are 180 the the third angle have 0.
