You can put this solution on YOUR website! Well, if you draw two parallel ines crossed by a transversal, then you can see that the interior angles on the same side of the transversal would add up to 180 degrees, so...
(5x-32)+(x+8) = 180 Simplify and solve for x.
6x-24 = 180 Add 24 to both sides.
6x = 204 Divide both sides by 6.
x = 34 degrees.
The two angles are:
5x-32 = 5(34)-32 = 170-32 = 138 degrees and...
