You can put this solution on YOUR website!

if line segment AB intersects line segment ED in the middle of point C, then
DC=CE
if DC=6x%2Bx (? confused why +6x, why not just 6,so you have 6%2Bx)
and CE=2x%2B1,
find the value of x+
+6%2Bx=2x%2B1
+6-1=2x-x
+5=x
=>
+x=5

.

Usually,  people do not write in the problem description   DC = 6x + x.

Such writing is  highlight%28DEFINITELY%29  a  highlight%28SIGN%29  of  highlight%28ERROR%29.

And when a tutor detects an error in the visitor's writing,
the duty of the tutor is to inform the visitor about the error,
BUT  DO  NOT  SOLVE  incorrectly posed problem,  as  @MathLover1 does.

It is an elementary rule of the safety precautions.
