You can put this solution on YOUR website!
vertical angles __ angles formed by the same lines, meeting vertex-to-vertex __ are equal

3r+44=5r-6 ___ 38=2r

8s-19=5s+11 ___ 3s=30

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You can solve two ways:
%283r%2B44%29%2B%285s%2B11%29=180
%288s-19%29%2B%285r-6%29=180
That gives you a system of equations in r and s.
3r%2B5s=125
5r%2B8s=205
The other, easier way is the equality of the angles.
3r%2B44=5r-6
8s-19=5s%2B11
This way each equation only has one variable.
3r%2B44=5r-6
-2r=-50
highlight%28r=25%29
8s-19=5s%2B11
3s=30
highlight%28s=10%29
