Could you please help solve this problem? It doesn't specify that segment AB and segment CB are tangents so how does one verify that angle OAB is a RIGHT
angle?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Could you please help solve this problem? It doesn't specify that segment AB and segment CB are tangents so how does one verify that angle OAB is a RIGHT
angle?
====================
If it's not tangent there's no way to solve it.
If it is tangent: sin(60) = 12/OB
OB = 12/sin(60) = 24/sqrt(3) = 8sqrt(3)
