Question 1186312: If A, B, and C are three points on a circle, can you say which point is between the other two? Found 2 solutions by ikleyn, greenestamps:Answer by ikleyn(52805) (Show Source):
The answer from the other tutor is correct, if "between" for points on a circle means moving along the circle.
However, the usual definition of "between" for three points is that the three points lie on a straight line.
With that definition of "between", there are no three points on any circle with one of the points between the other two, because no straight line intersects any circle in three places.
