.
pi%2Ar%5E2 = 9pi square inches for the flat area.

====>  r%5E2 = 9  ====>  r = sqrt%289%29 = 3 inches.

The volume of the beachball when it is inflated is %284%2F3%29%2Api%2Ar%5E3 = %284%2F3%29%2Api%2A3%5E3 = 4%2A9%2Api = 36 pi cubic inches.

My notes.

    1. The problem was formulated INCORRECTLY.

        The correct question is (= or should be):

            What is the volume of the beachball when it is inflated ?

    2. The answer options must go with dimension unit "cubic inches".
