~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Use the formula
   Area = %281%2F2%29%2Aa%2Ab%2Asin%28alpha%29 for the area of a triangle,
where "a" and "b" are two sides lengths and  alpha  is the angle between them.
Using given data, find sin%28alpha%29.
Having  sin%28alpha%29,  find cos%28alpha%29 = +/-sqrt%281-sin%5E2%28alpha%29%29.
    ===---> > > Notice that there is NO NEED to find alpha : all you need is sin%28alpha%29. < < <---===
Then find the length of the third side using  the cosine law.
Then find the perimeter,
---------------
By the way,  since  cos%28alpha%29  may have  (and factually has (!))  TWO values at given  sin%28alpha%29,  you will have
TWO possible values for the third side,  and,  correspondingly,  TWO values for the possible perimeter.
a lot of unnecessary calculations on her way  (like finding  alpha ).
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the triangle ABC has sides:
AB=22cm
AC=8cm
and A=34.98cm%5E2
If the area of the triangle A=34.98cm%5E2 and AB=22cm, we have
34.98cm%5Ecross%282%29=%2822cross%28cm%29%2Ah%29%2F2
34.98cm=11%2Ah
34.98cm%2F11=h
h=3.18cm
find BC-> note that h divides triangle in two right triangles and side AB=22cm in two parts x and y
since we know AC=8, h=3.18cm,
use Pythagorean theorem to find x
x=sqrt%288%5E2-3.18%5E2%29
x=7.34
then, y=22-7.34->y=14.66
now use Pythagorean theorem to find BC
y=14.66, and h=3.18
BC=sqrt%2814.66%5E2%2B3.18%5E2%29
BC=15.0009%29
BC=15cm
what is it's perimeter?
P=AB%2BAC%2BBC
P=22cm%2B8cm%2B15cm
P=45cm
or, this way:
Use the formula
Area+=%281%2F2%29%2Aa%2Ab%2Asin%28alpha%29 for the area of a triangle,
where "a" and "b" are two sides lengths and alpha is the angle between them.
Using given data, find sin%28alpha%29.
34.98=%281%2F2%29%2A22%2A8%2Asin%28alpha%29
34.98=88%2Asin%28alpha%29
sin%28alpha%29=34.98%2F88
sin%28alpha%29=0.3975
alpha=sin%5E-1%280.3975%29
alpha=sin%5E-1%280.3975%29
alpha=23.42°
Having %28alpha%29, find cos%28alpha%29.
cos%2823.42%29=0.917616
Then find the length of the third side using the cosine law.
c%5E2+=+a%5E2+%2B+b%5E2+%26%238722%3B+2ab+cos%28alpha%29
c%5E2+=+22%5E2+%2B+8%5E2+%26%238722%3B+2%2A22%2A8%2A0.917616
c%5E2+=+224.999168
c+=+sqrt%28225%29
c+=+15
Then find the perimeter,
P=a%2Bb%2Bc
P=22cm%2B8cm%2B15cm
P=45cm
