Remember the area of a circle is A=pi%2Ar%5E2 where r is the radius

So the area of a circle with the radius of 3.5cm is:

A=pi%2A%283.5%29%5E2 Plug in r=3.5


A=pi%2A12.25 Square 3.5 to get 12.25

A=38.465 Now multiply. Remember, pi is roughly 3.14...

So the area is approximately 38.465 sq cm
