You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The circumference of the circle is pi%2Ad+=+pi%2A80+=+80pi feet (where pi is approximately 3.14)
The symbol pi is pi

So in one full 360 degree revolution, the rider travels 80pi feet

In 10 revolutions, the rider travels 800pi feet (because 80*10 = 800, then just tack on the pi)

The exact answer is 800pi. If you use the approximation pi=3.14, then the approximate answer is 2512 because 800*pi=800*3.14 = 2512. The units of this answer is "feet".

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In one revolution, the rider travels one circumference +2%2Api%2Ar+ or +pi%2Ad+, where d is the diameter:
+C+=+pi%2Ad+=+pi%2A80 ft
Ten revolutions is therefore +10%2Api%2A80+=+800pi+ ft, which is approx. 2513.3ft. (a little less than 1/2 mile)
