You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%28x-h%29%5E2%2B%28y-k%29%5E2=r%5E2
Center is (h,k).

For intercepts, let x=0 and find y; let y=0 and find x.

.
a)  The center is (x,y) = (0,-2).

    The radius is 3 = sqrt%289%29.

b) y-intercept is obtained when x= 0 in the given equation

    (y+2)^2 = 9  ====>  y+2 = +/-3  ====>  y%5B1%5D = -2 + 3 = 1

                                           y%5B2%5D = -2 - 3 = -5.
