.
The standard form equation of the circle with radius r and center (h,k) is

%28x-h%29%5E2 + %28y-k%29%5E2 = r%5E2. (1) ( MEMORIZE it ! )

    In your case it is

    %28x-0%29%5E2 + %28y-3%29%5E2 = 3%5E2, (2) or

    x%5E2 + %28y-3%29%5E2 = 9.

To get the general form equation, simply open the parentheses in equation (1).

In your case it will give you

    x%5E2+%2B+y%5E2+-+6y+%2B+9 = 9, or, equivalently,

    x%5E2+%2B+y%5E2+-+6y = 0.

Answer. Standard form equation is x%5E2 + %28y-3%29%5E2 = 9.

         General form equation is x%5E2+%2B+y%5E2+-+6y = 0.
