360 / 40 = 9 slices from each pizza.

there are 20 people and each person needs to get 2 slices of pizza.

that would be 40 slices of pizza.

40 / 9 = 4.44........ pizzas.

round up to the nearest whole pizzas, and you need 5 pizzas.

5 * 9 = 45 slices of pizzas.

each person gets 2 slices for a total of 40 slices.

there will be 5 slices left over for whoever wants them.

4 pizzas * 9 = 36 slices which isn't enough.

5 pizzas * 9 = 45 which is more than enough.
