1. For every 10 yards on a football field, there is a boldly marked line labeled with the amount of yards. There are two parallel sidelines on each side of the field. If the 50 yard line is perpendicular to one of the sidelines, what is its relationship to the other sideline?

a) The 50 yard line is parallel to the other sideline by the Perpendicular Transversal Theorem.

b) The 50 yard line is perpendicular to the other sideline by the definition of the Transitive Property.

c) The 50 yard line is parallel to the other sideline by the Same-Side Interior Angles Theorem.
