Question 1046080: find the value of x for which L and M are parallel i'll try to illustrate as best as i can

when i hit the preview button everything moves to the left so L and M are the diagonal lines marked with the slashes the 3x-33 is on the left side by the L and the 2x+26 goes below the intersecting line on the right i hope this helps

You can put this solution on YOUR website! "pre" tags will put the symbols in the positions you want. Left arrow, pre, right arrow, and then your content of symbols, and then left arrow, forward slash, pre, right arrow.

You seem to want to label the two opposite exterior angles with expressions, so...

3x-33 / /
_______________________/______/___________
/ /
/ / 2x+26
The vertical angle of each of them is also that same value, so....,  , if you want L and M to be parallel.
