You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Your mixing apples and oranges.
You have a circumference.
C=2pi%2AR
Now do you want the area of the circle,
A=pi%2AR%5E2=pi%28C%2F%282pi%29%29%5E2=C%5E2%2F%284pi%29
or do you want the radius of the circle,
R=C%2F%282pi%29

Hi there,
Circumference = π x diameter
Diameter = Circumference/ π
Diameter = 18.5/π
Diameter = 5.889 ft (3 decimal places)
Radius (Diameter/2) = 2.945 feet (3 decimal places)
Area of a circle = πx r^2
Area = π x 2.945^2
Area = 27.25 feet^2 (2 decimal places)
Hope this helps :-)
