Question 1000892: Please can u solve dis for me
(1) Find the equation of the line which is parallel to the line 2y+x=3 and passes through the midpoint of (-2,3) and (5,4).
(2) The straight line y=mx+c passes through the points (0,k) and (1,2k). Express m and c in terms of h and k
(3) Find the equation of the line through (-2,-3) whose slope is 3
(4) Find the equations of the lines which pass through the following pairs of points (a) (-2,-6) and (5,-4). (B) (3,-2) and (-5,-2). (C) (-1,-2) and (3,0). (D) (1,2) and (-4,0)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Only giving help for two of them.

#2:
No use of h is shown.
m=%282k-k%29%2F%281-0%29=k%2F1=k, just using the formula for slope.
-
y=mx%2Bc
y-mx=c
c=y-mx.... but if you know about slope intercept form, you can identify the given (0,k) as the y intercept, so the equation is y=kx%2Bk.
