Question 1096896: Lines AB and CD are parallel to each other. Inside the lines AB and CD, there is a point P and an angle P consisted of segment XP and segment PY (XP and PY form an acute angle). The acute angle that XP and AB form is 35 degrees. The acute angle that PY and CD form is 42 degrees. What is the measure of angle P?
Sorry if this question is a bit unclear! If it's possible, can you also tell me how to make graphs in questions? Thank you!

Question 1098240: Hello!
Thanks for checking my question out!
____
1. For every 10 yards on a football field, there is a boldly marked line labeled with the amount of yards. There are two parallel sidelines on each side of the field. If the 50 yard line is perpendicular to one of the sidelines, what is its relationship to the other sideline?
An image of a football field is shown. There are two horizontal sidelines labeled and there are evenly spaced vertical lines across the field. From left to right they are labeled 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10. (1 point)
a) The 50 yard line is parallel to the other sideline by the Perpendicular Transversal Theorem.
b) The 50 yard line is perpendicular to the other sideline by the definition of the Transitive Property.
c) The 50 yard line is parallel to the other sideline by the Same-Side Interior Angles Theorem.
d) The 50 yard line is perpendicular to the other sideline by the Perpendicular Transversal Theorem.
Could someone please help me with this problem?
Thanks!

Question 1099529: Airplanes often travel with and against the wind, which often affects their speed. The airplane from Cebu to Manila traveled against the wind at 186 kilometers per hour. From Manila to Cebu, the airplane traveled with the wind at 200 kilometers per hour. During the entire trip, the airplane's speed stayed the same while the speed of the wind stayed the same. What was the speed of the wind? What was the speed of the airplane?

Question 1104973: Ok, I'm not sure if it's even possible to explain this sufficiently without showing a picture of the problem, but I have two parallel lines: 8 and P. The top of line P is connected to the bottom of line 8 by line 2+5, and the bottom of P is connected to the top of 8 by 4+Q. 2 and 4 are on line P's side of the intersection, and 5 and Q are on 8's side. Triangle P 2 4 is smaller than triangle 8 5 Q. My answer for Q is 10, and for P is 16/5. Am I correct? Thanks for your time!
