You can put this solution on YOUR website! Please help me solve this equation: Find the perimeter of the triangle
1st side of triangle x^2+10, second side x-5,
base of triangle 2x^3+x+11.
.
Since the perimeter of any triangle is simply the sum of the sides, we have:
(x^2+10)+(x-5)+(2x^3+x+11)
removing parentheses:
x^2+10+x-5+2x^3+x+11
ordering terms:
2x^3+x^2+x+x+10-5+11
combining like-terms:
2x^3+x^2+2x+10-5+11
2x^3+x^2+2x+5+11
2x^3+x^2+2x+16 (solution)
