Question 56575: How do you convert a point intercept formula to standard and vice versa.
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Did you mean "slope-intercept"?
If you did that form is y=mx+b
The corresponding standard formula
would be mx-y=-b because the standard
form is ax+by=c.
------------------------
If you start with the standard form and
want to change to the slope-intercept form
you get:
by=-ax+c
y=(-a/b)x+(c/b)
