Question 453024: In TRIANGLE DEF, GI is a perpendicular bisector:
Find x if EH = 16 and FH = 6x-5
NOTE:
I thought the equation was simple meaning that EH=FH since the perpendicular bisector of GI cuts it equally, but that seemed to easy.
16=6x-5
11=6x
11/6=x

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In TRIANGLE DEF, GI is a perpendicular bisector:
Find x if EH = 16 and FH = 6x-5
---------

NOTE:
I thought the equation was simple meaning that EH=FH since the perpendicular bisector of GI cuts it equally, but that seemed to easy.
16=6x-5
11=6x
11/6=x
----------------
If the triangle is DEF, where does GI fit into the picture?
Between points E and F, GI is a perpendicular bisector down to the line between DF. H is the midpoint.
----
That's too confusing for me.
