Yes. An infinite number of lines can be drawn to a given line. You can convince yourself of this with lines on a piece of paper.
Draw a line with a ruler. Draw a line parallel to it an inch away. Since lines are really an abstract thing and have no real thickness, can you imagine thousands of other lines of zero thickness between the two you have drawn?
And those are only in one plane and only within one inch...
